Milwaukee Wood Packaging Plant and Headquarters
The Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility is Timber Creek’s largest wood packaging site and corporate headquarters. Sitting on over 10 acres of land, the 80,000 square foot manufacturing plant produces custom wood pallets, custom wood crates, and custom wood boxes for hundreds of satisfied customers.
This site also boasts the company’s largest, most dynamic inventory of industrial lumber, the lumber yard is filled with millions of board feet of hardwood and softwood lumber. The diverse mix of industrial lumber provides opportunities for engineering to work with manufacturing to completely customize a wood package using a mixture of materials. It is not uncommon for Timber Creek custom wood packages to use a combination of softwood, hardwood, OSB, Plywood, foam, and/or triple-wall corrugated on the same package.

Tonawanda, New York Wirebound Facility
The Tonawanda, New York plant is located in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. Because of its proximity to the only four international bridges to Canada within a 300 mile radius, there exists a high number of empty trucks offering highly competitive freight rates to provide wirebound boxes and crates to our customers.
This 100,000 square foot facility is located 3/4 mile north of I-290 in Tonawanda, New York. The plant primarily manufactures stitched wooden wirebound boxes and wooden crates used in industrial and military applications.
Our expertise as a wirebound crate manufacturer stems from our many employees that have worked with Wisconsin Box for 20 years or longer. Last year, our 40 full time employees produced over 265,000 wooden wirebound crates for our satisfied customers.
This plant services customers west to Wisconsin, north to Canada, east to the Atlantic seaboard, and as far South as the Carolina’s. Our Tennessee wirebound crate plant covers the Southern States and the West. Our Antigo, Wisconsin hardwood sawmill services customers in the North and West United States. We pride ourselves on our ability to stock crates for our larger customers, so we can ship mixed truckloads of different sized wooden crates.
Over the years, the plant in New York has been recognized by ownership, but more importantly by its customers, for its quality, service, on-time-deliveries, and its ability and willingness to solve customer needs. Our wirebound crate department has 8 stitching assembly lines on which to produce stitched wooden boxes and crates. We have our own in house cutting and resawing operations as well.

Antigo, Wisconsin Hardwood Sawmill Facility
Antigo Sawmill Facility
For over 40 years, this facility has been producing high quality truckloads of custom hardwood pallets.
Our Antigo sawmill cuts over 8 million (8,000,000) board feet of hardwood and aspen logs per year. These logs are converted into 100% usable product including cut stock, wood crates, wood boxes and over 400,000 custom wood pallets.
All of the plant’s aspen or hardwood logs processed are consumed as finished product going to customers or as heat for the plant in winter.
Antogo Sawmill Facility
Antigo Sawmill Facility
This facility is heated by the sawdust byproduct produced in the sawmill. Sawdust not consumed onsite for heat is sold for pellets and animal bedding. The complete use of each log that enters this plant, means no part of a tree cut to be processed in this facility ends up in a landfill. This is why Timber Creek is proud to run this most environmentally friendly facility.
Our sawmill operation has created positions for over 60 employees in the Antigo area, and will continue to support the community as we grow our customer base.
Timber Creek, LLC follows Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) practices. We are constantly growing and expanding to meet the requirements of our customers while staying well educated in the wood industry.

Dyer, Tennessee Wirebound Facility
This is our oldest plant with the deepest history of crate manufacturing company-wide. Established in 1889, Dyer Fruit Box Manufacturing Company began manufacturing “strawberry hampers”. The business evolved into manufacturing all types of fruit and vegetable crates, including: apple, sweet corn, bean, peach, and cranberry crates (to name a few). Through the years, we have continued to produce wooden fruit and vegetable crates as we did over 130 years ago.
Military boxes and industrial crating began to slowly overtake the fruit and vegetable box business, and in the 1990’s, we became primarily an industrial wholesaler of collapsible wooden crates — capable of shipping knock-down wirebound crates anywhere in the country. Wisconsin Box Company of Wausau, Wisconsin purchased the Dyer, Tennessee plant in January of 1999 and solidified the transformation into an industrial wooden crate plant.
We have continued to grow as a wood packaging manufacturer and now offer custom wood pallets, nailed or wirebound wood crates, and OSB or Plywood boxes. We are also able to produce large volumes of tank saddles and band-notched lumber.
